George Barris, King of Custom Cars (aka KUSTOM CARS) and his East Coast Reps, Andy Perillo (the wizard behind the curtain) and Mike Manning are hosting a celebration on Long Island at the Cradle of Aviation on August 22nd, 23rd, 24th 2008 as the Committee for the Autoseum (for the world's most famous movie star cars like the Batmobile, Knight Rider, James Bond's silver Austin-Martin, etc) to not only preserve but share with and educate future generations about the artistry of custom car designs.

in Garden City on Charles Lindberg Blvd.
Friday night, 8/22nd
a one-on-one cocktail party with the one and only George Barris at the Uniondale MARRIOTT on James Doolittle Blvd. Seating is limited call: 718-465-5999 ASAP to reserve your space (first preference to the industry).
Saturday, 8/23rd
there will be a lunch and also a dinner (reservations required), a custom car show (entries being accepted currently), kids events, a costume contest for Superheros, vendors, rides, die cast cars, posters, give-aways, a custom car show and the People's Choice Trophy, etc.
Sunday, 8/24th
there will be a brunch (reservations required), the award of the BEST-IN-SHOW in the custom car show and a car auction -
